# Xi urges US, Iran to resume negotiations to resolve conflicts

> Chinese President Xi Jinping said Thursday that he hopes the United States and Iran will return quickly to dialogue and negotiations. During talks with Donald Trump at the White House, Xi said China supports their return to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding and hopes they will eventually reach a comprehensive agreement on the nuclear issue and other matters.
