> UNCTAD estimates that rebuilding the Gaza Strip will cost $71.5 billion. Its report says 92% of Gaza’s economic assets have been damaged or destroyed since October 2023, while per-capita GDP fell to $212 in 2025 and unemployment reached 78%. UNCTAD urged the transfer of withheld Palestinian revenues, protection of the banking system and reconstruction aid matching the damage.
