# Non-oil and gas deficit to shrink to 5% of GDP in Russian budget — Finance Minister

> Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said Russia’s federal budget non-oil and gas deficit will fall to 5% of GDP in 2027-2029, its lowest level since 2008. Non-oil and gas revenues are expected to remain above 80% of total revenue. Draft-budget priorities include social commitments, defense and security, support for special military operation participants and their families, and technology and infrastructure development.
