> Javier Milei denounced the UN in a caustic General Assembly speech, calling it ineffective and accusing it of ignoring Argentina’s claim to the Falkland Islands, known as the Malvinas in Argentina. He warned that Argentina would take matters into its own hands over oil exploration near the territory, which he described as unlawful exploitation under foreign occupation.
