# Unfriendly actions will not go unanswered, Russian mission to EU says over sanctions

> Russia’s Permanent Mission to the EU said Moscow does not recognize unilateral coercive measures and warned that unfriendly actions against Russia will not go unanswered. It called the EU’s anti-Russian restrictions illegitimate and unfounded. The EU Council has extended individual sanctions on more than 3,000 people and entities until September 22, 2029.
