# Iran will not resume US talks or reopen Hormuz until Washington meets its terms, official says

> Iran will not restart negotiations with the United States or reopen the Strait of Hormuz unless Washington accepts seven conditions previously set by Tehran, Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei said. He said Iran was in no hurry to negotiate and that the US must first earn the trust of the Iranian people.
