> The US is expected to establish two military bases in Greenland under a deal with Denmark and Greenland. One would revive the Cold War-era base at Narsarsuaq in the south, while another would be set up at Mestersvig in the east. The agreement is expected to be signed at the UN General Assembly, though its text has not been published. Denmark and Greenland say it will respect Greenland’s sovereignty.
