> The United States plans to reopen a former Cold War-era base in southern Greenland and establish a military presence at an east coast facility currently used by Denmark’s dog-sled patrol, according to three people familiar with the matter. The arrangement is due to be formalized in an agreement signed Tuesday by the US, Denmark and Greenland.
