> Former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko resigned from Ukraine’s prosecution service on Sept. 21 after failing to return to work when an official foreign trip ended on Sept. 18. President Volodymyr Zelensky had dismissed him as prosecutor general the previous day, while he formally remained a prosecutor. His departure came amid an anti-corruption investigation involving officials in the Prosecutor General’s Office, allegations he denied.
