# More Australians forecast to live into their 90s in coming decades

> Treasury’s latest intergenerational report forecasts life expectancy at birth will rise to almost 90 years for women and 86 for men by 2065/66. It also projects slower population growth, smaller households and mounting long-term budget pressure from an ageing population.
