> China’s Commerce Ministry said it opposes unilateral sanctions without UN authorization or a basis in international law, as well as so-called secondary sanctions against countries trading with third parties. After the US signed a law allowing tariffs of up to 100% on countries importing Russian oil or gas, China said it would monitor Washington’s actions and reserve the right to take necessary measures.
