# New US sanctions bill puts Russia’s trade partners in crosshairs, RSPP official says

> Alexander Murychev, vice president of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, said a newly proposed US bill tightening sanctions on Russia would mainly pressure its trading partners. He warned that secondary tariffs of up to 100% could hit China, India and European buyers of Russian oil and gas, while saying Russian businesses have adapted to existing restrictions. The House has passed the bill, which awaits President Donald Trump’s signature.
