> WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says Ebola cases are surging in North Kivu, with weekly cases doubling to more than 200 in two weeks, even as transmission declines in parts of Ituri and no new cases have been reported in South Kivu since May. More than 7,200 cases and 3,500 deaths have been reported across seven provinces since May.
