> US officials met Houthi leaders at the American embassy in Muscat, Oman, over the weekend. The Iran-backed group assured Washington that its 2025 ceasefire remained in place and that US shipping in the Red Sea would not be attacked, while Saudi-linked vessels were considered targets.
