> Nearly three weeks after deadly flash floods struck the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli river corridor near Nepal’s Chinese border, the country is shifting from rescue to relief and reconstruction. Authorities say 1,386 bodies have been recovered across five districts, while more than 5,130 people remain missing. Damage to communities and hydropower facilities has produced an estimated reconstruction bill of $4.78 billion.
