> Saudi Arabia is urging Washington to take direct military action against the Iran-backed Houthis after their advance along Yemen’s Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The group reached Mayyun, or Perim, Island and captured the coastal town of Dhubab after government forces withdrew. Trump reportedly rejected direct U.S. action for now but offered intelligence and targeting support to Riyadh.
