> Yemen’s Houthi militia captured the port city of Mokha, raising fears that intensified fighting could push the country back into civil war. Near the Bab el-Mandeb strait, Mokha overlooks a key shipping route that has become an alternative to the disrupted Strait of Hormuz. The Houthis said navigation and trade remained safe, while accusing Saudi Arabia of strikes in Taiz province.
