> Russia will close Germany’s Consulate General in St. Petersburg and end the operations of Goethe-Institut cultural centers in the country. The Foreign Ministry described the measures as retaliation for Germany’s closure of Russia’s consulate in Bonn and the Russian House in Berlin; diplomatic notes were handed to Germany’s charge d’affaires.
