> Yemen’s more than decade-long civil war has flared again after the Houthi armed group launched offensives against Saudi-backed government forces in several locations. The Houthis also attacked oil facilities in southern Saudi Arabia, wounding dozens. The renewed fighting is the most serious since a UN-brokered truce halted large-scale combat in 2022.
