> Haaretz, citing sources in a new book, reported that about ten days before the October 7, 2023 attack, UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to warn that Hamas Gaza leader Yahya Sinwar was preparing a major assault on Israel. Netanyahu reportedly reacted calmly and said Israel had the situation in Gaza under full control.
