> German police detained 48-year-old Daniel V. near the Weisweiler power plant outside Aachen on suspicion of sabotaging electrical substations. Officers reportedly found explosive devices on him and bombs in a nearby tent. He is suspected of links to incidents near Berlin, Cologne, and Düsseldorf, though officials disagree over whether the motive was climate terrorism or an outside order.
