# China in Photos: Some Victims Identified After Mudslide Hits Xizang Border Port

> Some victims of the Aug. 26 mudslide at Gyirong Port in southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region have been identified. As of 6 p.m. Saturday, 43 people were confirmed dead and 519 remained missing, including 261 foreign nationals from 23 countries. More than 60 forensic specialists and three dedicated laboratories are working on identification.
