> Thousands gathered in Belgrade for Ratko Mladić’s funeral, with the convicted war criminal’s coffin escorted by uniformed soldiers and draped in national flags. The military spectacle drew condemnation from EU officials, who said glorifying genocide and war crimes conflicted with European values and Serbia’s path toward membership.
