> Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia’s war against Ukraine currently appears likely to continue into winter after talks in Kyiv with US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Both sides described the discussions positively, but announced no concrete breakthrough. Russian officials said Ukrainian drone attacks killed at least two people and injured several others; the claims could not be independently verified.
