> Tehran says the era of proportionate retaliation is over after the US struck Iranian oil tankers inside the blockade line. The IRGC claims it attacked several ships and launched ballistic missiles toward US warships enforcing the blockade, while CENTCOM says three tankers were hit and the missile attacks were evaded. Washington and Tehran also dispute whether the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.
