> U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Ukraine on Sept. 6, a day after holding more than three hours of talks with Vladimir Putin in Moscow. The visit is part of Washington’s effort to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine’s proposals on peace, security guarantees and a dignified postwar settlement are ready, though the negotiations remain effectively deadlocked.
