> Guyana says it received six Cuban and Afghan nationals deported from the United States over immigration issues. The one-year arrangement is not permanent resettlement, and forms part of the Trump administration’s expanding third-country deportation campaign, which has agreements with more than 30 governments. Rights groups denounce the practice as punishing migrants and pressuring them to abandon US immigration claims.
