> Africa CDC says it is too soon to declare the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s Ebola outbreak under control despite recent stabilization. As of September 1, the outbreak had produced 6,250 confirmed cases and 3,039 deaths, with active transmission continuing in 51 health zones. Officials warn the situation is still evolving and urge a broader response.
