> Norway’s Foreign Ministry said it would provide necessary assistance to Russian citizens in Svalbard who were left in a difficult situation after authorities seized the Russian research vessel Professor Molchanov. The vessel was detained on September 2 at the request of Ukrainian company Naftogaz and cannot leave its location pending a decision by the governor of Svalbard.
