> Floods in Nepal’s Bhotekoshi-Trisuli river basin have killed more than 1,250 people and left nearly 4,000 missing, while damage to infrastructure is estimated at $2.6 billion. Nepal, responsible for just 0.1% of global greenhouse gas emissions, is urging the international community to share responsibility for disaster response, adaptation and reconstruction, and plans to raise climate justice at the UN General Assembly.
