> Nepal’s army said in a September 4 social-media video that it had rescued two workers trapped in a hydropower tunnel. The operation raised hopes of reaching more than a dozen others believed to be inside. Both men were flown to a hospital in Kathmandu. The floods have killed over 1,200 people, with more than 5,000 still missing.
