> FIFA has accused UEFA of pursuing a “smear campaign” and “fishing expedition” against the organization and President Gianni Infantino. The dispute concerns FIFA’s plan to sell a stake in its commercial rights. UEFA has asked a New York federal court to obtain evidence for potential criminal proceedings in Switzerland and threatened to boycott the World Cup if the plan proceeds.
