> A UN-backed investigation says foreign personnel, weapons and military technology networks are sustaining and expanding Sudan’s civil war, strengthening both the Rapid Support Forces and Sudanese Armed Forces while worsening the humanitarian crisis for civilians. The report documents drone attacks, foreign military contractors and fighters from several countries, and urges states to disrupt illicit supply networks and enforce the UN arms embargo.
