> Russian Volunteer Corps deputy commander Stepan Kaplunov denied contacts with Russia’s FSB and involvement in planned assassinations, saying he confessed after nine days in detention under psychological pressure and threats. The claims followed a Kyiv shootout between SBU officers and HUR members that wounded three HUR servicemen. Russian strikes on Kyiv and nearby areas injured at least six people and damaged a Coca-Cola plant, while flights remained restricted at two Moscow airports.
