> Two Palestinian teenagers were killed in al-Mughayyir, local officials say, while trying to stop Israeli settlers stealing sheep. Israel’s military says its troops entered to protect an Israeli civilian and police retrieving livestock, then fired at people it called key instigators after Palestinians threw stones. The deaths come amid a recent surge in settler violence across the occupied West Bank.
