> Russian Volunteer Corps deputy commander Stepan Kaplunov denied SBU allegations that he had contacts with Russia’s FSB and helped plan assassinations. He said he admitted to them only after nine days in detention under psychological pressure and threats. The claims followed a Kyiv confrontation between SBU officers and HUR members that ended in a shootout, injuring three HUR service members. The State Bureau of Investigation is examining the incident.
