> Since September 2025, the US military has conducted more than 60 strikes on suspected drug-trafficking boats in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific, killing over 220 people. The Trump administration calls the campaign a war on “narcoterrorism” but has disclosed little about the victims, supporting evidence or targeting process. Families, witnesses and legal experts question the strikes’ legality and accountability.
