> Donald Trump has suggested he is reconsidering US support for Britain’s sovereignty over the Falkland Islands, a move that could strain Washington’s “special relationship” with London. The remarks signal a willingness to use the dispute to pressure the UK to increase defence spending and Nato contributions, while Argentina continues to claim the South Atlantic islands.
