> Nepal’s flood death toll has surpassed 1,000, with nearly 4,000 people still missing six days after the disaster struck near the Tibet border. As hopes of finding survivors fade, rescuers continue searching hydropower sites along the Trishuli River, where about 500 of roughly 900 missing workers are believed trapped in tunnels.
