> G20 finance ministers and central bank chiefs met in Asheville, North Carolina, with Russia’s Finance Minister Anton Siluanov making an unexpected appearance and holding talks with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. German and other European officials objected to Moscow’s presence, while Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times reported restricted or denied access for their journalists.
