> A bill proposing fresh sanctions on Russia is facing substantial resistance in the US House of Representatives, leaving its future uncertain, Politico reported. Democrats oppose it while Republicans have shown little enthusiasm, and House leaders did not schedule a vote this week. The measure would target Russian officials and state companies, impose secondary sanctions on trading partners and allow 100% tariffs on major buyers of Russian oil and gas.
