# Why is the SCO solution for global governance drawing wide attention?

> A CGTN–Renmin University survey of 13,707 people in 48 countries found that 74.6% view the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as a pragmatic avenue for cooperation among countries with different systems. As the SCO marks its 25th anniversary, respondents highlighted its achievements in trade, investment, financing, cultural exchange and tourism, and called for a larger role in infrastructure and energy, regional security, and climate and environmental issues.
