> President Donald Trump claimed that an average of 30 vessels pass through the Strait of Hormuz each night with assistance from the US Navy. He said substantial oil shipments are leaving the region, keeping prices from rising as some forecasts predicted. The report says the US resumed massive airstrikes on Iran on July 8 after accusing Tehran of violating earlier agreements over the strait.
