> US Vice President JD Vance says a video posted by Donald Trump showing missiles striking Iran’s Kharg Island was intended to warn Tehran that it would face consequences if it continued threatening commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The remarks came as the US and Iran exchanged fire for the first time in nearly a month.
