> President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran remains committed to a diplomatic settlement with the United States, arguing that continuing the war serves neither Iran, the region nor humanity. The statement follows reports of a US strike on two missile launchers on Iran’s Larak Island and subsequent Iranian attacks on US bases in Jordan and the UAE.
