> A US official says American forces struck two Iranian launchers on Larak island after Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps personnel were seen preparing rockets carrying sea mines for the Strait of Hormuz. Iran said the attack killed and wounded soldiers and civilians and vowed a response. Reuters later reported an apparent Iranian attack on US forces in Jordan, with all incoming missiles intercepted.
