> Around 30 vessels were stopped from crossing the Strait of Hormuz over the past week because they lacked permits from Iranian authorities, Mehr reported. Navigation currently requires an agreement with Iran and payment of fees. Donald Trump has claimed the strait as U.S. territory, while Tehran says it fully controls the waterway and calls his claim groundless.
