> Donald Trump signed an executive order seeking to rename Lake Ontario “Lake America” in the US official geographic names database, giving the Interior Department 30 days to act. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and provincial leaders rejected the change, as the move came amid a breakdown in US-Canada trade talks and escalating tariffs.
