> At least 160 people were killed and nearly 1,500 are missing after a glacier collapse triggered catastrophic floods and mudslides along the Nepal-Tibet border. The collapse sent an ice-and-rock avalanche into a river, temporarily blocking it before the natural dam broke and released a destructive surge downstream.
