> The Trump administration has paused immigrant visa applications worldwide for “in-depth training” of consular officers, the Financial Times reported, citing a State Department spokesperson. Appointments will be adjusted, with the training intended to help screen applicants considered likely to rely on US public benefits. The move comes amid a broader immigration crackdown.
